Join Kate Noble and me for a gently held day of movement, awareness, nature and connection. Bringing their complementary approaches together for the first time, this retreat combines Helen's somatic movement practice with Kate's nature-based and equine-facilitated work to create a day of exploration, connection and discovery alongside the herd.
Set amongst the hay fields, ancient woodland and a herd of horses, this immersive retreat offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself and explore what becomes possible when we listen more closely to our bodies, the natural world and the relationships around us.
Throughout the day we invite curiosity rather than performance, awareness rather than achievement, and connection rather than striving.
Through embodied movement, time in nature and shared experiences alongside the herd, we explore how greater awareness can support regulation, resilience, presence and choice in everyday life.
No previous experience with horses or movement practices is required. All activities are ground-based and designed to be accessible, welcoming and gently paced.
WHAT THE DAY INCLUDES
The day begins with a gentle grounding practice, inviting awareness of body, breath and surroundings. Taking time to slow down and notice how we meet ourselves that day creates a foundation for the movement, nature and herd-based experiences that follow.
Through guided movement explorations, Helen will invite us to deepen our awareness of sensation, support, breath, connection and ease within the body. Drawing on somatic movement principles, fascia-informed practice and embodied enquiry, the sessions encourage curiosity, exploration and self-discovery.
Alongside the herd, Kate will guide opportunities to observe, reflect and explore awareness in relationship. The horses accompany us throughout the day as quiet companions in the process, inviting moments of connection, curiosity and insight.
The day also includes time within the ancient woodland and wider landscape, offering space to notice, listen and reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world.
A nourishing lunch and refreshments are provided, alongside opportunities for reflection, conversation and integration.
